20080319_caroline_flint_interviewIn an interview with the BBC’s Politics Show on February 24th 2008, Caroline Flint discusses Government plans for new housing.

In this interview the Housing Minister, Caroline Flint discusses steps needed to build more housing and the formation of Eco Towns.

The Minister heavily emphasises the need for housing to be located in an area with a good transport links and the location must have a developed infrastructure of schools, health centres etc.

Towards the end of the interview when asked if the Green Belt should remain sacrosanct, Caroline Flint says that “you have to recognize a difference between a green field and a green belt”.
