David Pretty, former CEO of Barratts, heads up review to speed up the planning process.

A new review is to be carried out with the aim to speed up Britain’s often sluggish planning system.

The aim is to cut red tape and make the system more user-friendly. In addition, the plan is to cut delays once planning permission has been granted.
